FAVORITE PART OF PLAYING CLARINET: I love performing with other people and think there's something magical about connecting with others through live music!

FAVORITE NOTE ON CLARINET: Concert E-flat (specifically written 5th line F for B-flat clarinet - the first note of Brahms' Clarinet Sonata in E flat major)

FAVORITE PART OF TEACHING MUSIC: I light up when I can help students see something in themselves or express something about the world through music that they haven't known or done before. Bearing witness to and sharing in someone else's growth is amazing!
